Play’n GO confirmed its entry into the Alberta igaming market on July 16. The Swedish developer went live with a selection of titles across more than ten licensed platforms on the first day of the province’s regulated launch.
This development establishes Play’n GO as a supplier in its third Canadian province, adding to existing operations in Ontario and Québec. The immediate availability of the portfolio allows players to access the studio’s games from the start of the new regulatory period.
Market Positioning
Esteban Perez, new market entry lead at Play’n GO, described the launch as a milestone for the company’s regulated market strategy. He emphasized that the partnership with multiple operators on day one demonstrates the strength of the studio’s network. Perez added that the expansion supports sustainable market growth while maintaining compliance standards.
The studio previously expanded into Ontario and Québec as part of its ongoing efforts to increase its presence in North American regulated jurisdictions.
